District Governor Charles E. (Chuck) Trimble

Chuck has been a member of the Burlington Rotary Club since 1992. He is an active member in Rotary, has been Chairman of all Avenues of Service, Vice President, and was President in 1998-1999. He also serves on several committees at the district level, and chaired the Vocational Service Committee. He served several years as Assistant District Governor. Chuck is a multiple Paul Harris Fellow, a Sustaining Paul Harris Fellow, a Benefactor and also a member of the Paul Harris Society.

Chuck is a graduate of Central Institute in Missouri where he earned his degree in Electrical Engineering. During his career, he and his family lived in many parts of the United States and also lived in England for three years. During the tour in England, he traveled extensively throughout western Europe where he was responsible for establishing a data commuications network, establishing a large-scale time-sharing service bureau in London, and then connecting to a larger service bureau in Kansas City, Missouri.

Chuck was born and raised in eastern Pennsylvania. After graduating from high school, he spent four years in the United States Air Force.

Chuck's hobbies include woodworking, golf, and hunting. He now resides in Burlington, Kansas, with his wife, Joyce, who is an avid seamstress. They have two grown sons, Jay and Edward.
