One of the best parts of serving as District Governor has been visiting clubs—meeting new Rotarians, connecting members with District Leadership, and experiencing the fun traditions that make each club unique!
I especially love our singing clubs with the songbooks—from “I’ve Been Working on the Railroad” at the Lawrence Rotary Club to “Viva Rotary!” in Ottawa. Whether it’s Happy Bucks, Secret Superpowers, or another favorite tradition, clubs across our district are finding creative ways to engage members and energize meetings. TEAM Seminar
Kick-off a new Rotary year on Aug 15 in Lawrence at Maceli’s (1031 New Hampshire) from 8:30 am – 1:30 pm. Team Seminar is open to all Rotarians at no cost, and whether your are a brand new Rotarian, or have been a member for 20 years, ALL Rotarians can benefit! This popular annual event provides our new DG, Michele Sink, an opportunity to set the stage for us to “Create Lasting Impact” as we hear from presenters, learn more about Rotary and District 5710, share perspectives and engage in discussions. This event includes a free brunch with Mimosas and Bloody Marys!
We will provide donuts and coffee when you arrive (so we hope you will arrive a bit early to mingle!)
